MY PHILOSOPHY
Your Health is your Wealth
I truly believe in “your health is your wealth” but certainly can’t take credit for the quote. I’m not suggesting that money is not essential as we all need money to live, but we are all guilty of taking our health for granted at times. Your healthy body gives you the strength and energy that help you to achieve better results in every aspect of your life and should always be your number one priority. Without it, nothing else matters.
MY PASSIONS
Fitness & Golf
At this stage of my life, outside of my family, Fitness and Golf rank very high in my passions. As a young kid, I did every sport imaginable and that has continued through my adult life. Today my fitness goals are to maintain fitness, good muscle tone, and cardiovascular endurance. Playing and enjoying golf (pain free) for a long time. I am staying healthy and wealthy.

ABOUT ME
Owner, founder, mother, wife
My name is Deborah Ryan, and I am the founder of Redi4Golfn. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, a passion for fitness and a fit lifestyle was instilled early. My Dad was a semi-professional footballer (soccer, here in the US), and sports, fitness, and an active lifestyle were a part of my DNA and a part of everyday life in our family. Participating in gymnastics, track and field, and soccer (to name but a few), I’ve always had an active, athletic lifestyle. It’s one that I share with my husband and three beautiful children and one that I’d like to share with those who are Redi4Golfn as well.
My journey to Redi4Golfn began right after college when I immigrated to the United States at the age of 21. The economy in Ireland was not doing well, so I decided to look for opportunities elsewhere – and what a journey it’s been!! I settled in New Jersey and went to work as a Personal Trainer at Jack LaLanne (and yes, I know that I may be dating myself). I was quiet and barely spoke as people made fun of my Irish accent. Little did I realize that everyone wanted me to hear me talk BECAUSE of my accent. However, hard work led to success, and I was soon running Fitness operations in 22 clubs in NJ and PA.
With thoughts of family and financial considerations, I realized that it was time for a new career challenge. Through night school studies, I embarked on a new path in the information technology (IT) industry which took up the next 20+ years. Oh yeah, somewhere during that time came the 3 wonderful kids. Fitness was always a part of my daily routine and my educational focus. In 2016 at the age of 40, I stepped out onto a stage for my very first Body Building Figure competition, which was followed by 4 more competitions. I swapped the bikini and spray tan for heavy weights and moved into the world of competitive Powerlifting. I proudly still hold the NJ state records for Squat and Deadlift for my age group!
In 2015 I met my now-husband and he introduced me to the world of Golf. I educated myself in all aspects of Golf, from instruction, equipment, and fitness. While some people think Golf is an easy sport, I would have to disagree. When I first started playing, I would dread it when my husband said we were playing 18 holes. I just didn’t have the stamina to keep swinging that club. As a fitness devotee, this was eye-opening to me. My muscles would be sore as I just didn’t use these muscles in this way in my regular routine. Unwilling to accept this, I started to look into how to prepare my body for Golf and make sure I kept it that way. Being a certified personal trainer, I sought out ways to increase and strengthen my movements for Golf. I attended a Titleist Performance Institute Fitness Level I certification course over a long weekend and realized that this is what I wanted to do – combine my passion for fitness, golf, helping people, and creating friendships into my dream career.
